One SMS that is going rounds recently making me write this mail :
"38% Doctors in USA are INDIANS, 12% Scinetists in USA are INDIANS,36% NASA Scientists in USA are INDIANS,34% microsoft employees are INDIANS,17% INTEL employees are INDIANS,28% IBM employees are INDIANS....INDIANS ARE GREAT! But INDIA is NOT....If all these Brainful Idiots had worked for INDIA, we would have raced USA in few days in few days. So Plz forward this - Jai Hind "
Basic reason for this kind of SMS & mails are our Inferiority Complex - courtesy -
Mr. Macualay's Education system designed to make us look inferior.
Why should we race USA? Why we should copy what US does?
Today's USA is the most debt ridden country of the world, it has taken loans from many countries including India for its extravagant survival.
In comparison, India also has debts but borrowed from its People.
Yes Indians! our saving attitude is saving our country today.
Spending attitude of USA is not worth copying, even US's closest neighbour Canada is not willing to copy or race, then why we should?
DR.APJ.Abdul Kalam has written many times about our defeatist attitude, we have to be positive. We have to be happy that our countrymen are able to show their talent where ever they are. the % we showed in USA about Indians, is true for Chinese, for Japanese.
We are already doing lot of good things, there are many wrong things too, but it is there in every country. America is as corrupt or more corrupt than India.
I am just reading a book, "Awakening Indians to India" from Chinmaya Mission, Please read it if you get a chance. We have been made to read history that told us that we are backward in science & economy. Our Dr. Jagadish Chandra Bose was the 1st one to discover Radio waves & radio, but we all say it was Italian Marconi. It was the great soul of Dr. Bose to refuse the patent for his discovery as he told that the radio waves existed even before him & will be there even after him & he cannot claim right for its existence by applying the patent. So, indians stop denegrading ourselves, wake up. Be happy that you are in this great Karma bhoomi where you can experience everything in one birth. Happy awakening.
